I program multiple radios for the local fire department. Unfortunately, most of the radios must utilize a serial port for the cables. I also find that it is very difficult to find USB programming cables that do not require a driver, as the cables that I have had to download a driver for I have never been able to use. This cable however was simple, plug in to computer, plug in to radio, and select com port. Flawless. Thank you for the product.

Solves the problem
I use it on my BaoFeng UV-5R for programming without having to load any drivers what so ever. It uses the drivers in Windows 10! Easy to use and works as intended. The old saying you get what you pay for is exactly what this cable is all about…… I am very happy with it and would recommend it…

This programming cable, while it appears to be more expensive than is required, costs what it does because it uses the proper components instead of cloned/copied/counterfeit/etc ones that require extra work to ensure you’re using the correct older drivers. As such, this cable was plug-and-play and I didn’t have to mess around with trying to get it to work, it just worked right out of the package and I was able to program by handful of BF-T1 radios without any difficulty. I highly recommend that, if you’re going to buy the BF-T1 radios, you buy this cable and not a cheap knockoff that may or may not work for you based on how well you can scour the internets.
