solved issue with programming some BF-888s radios
The cable worked perfect for programming my Baofeng BF-888s radios. I had ordered 6 of the radios and I was able to program 2 of them with my cheap Baofeng programming cable that I use for my UV-5R’s and other Baofeng radios – but the other 4 BF-888s radios just wouldn’t work. I did some Googling and found others having this issue due to firmware changes on the BF-888s – the solution was to get an FTDI chipped programming cable. I ordered this one from BLueMax49ers – it shipped and arrived quickly and worked without any issues to program the other 4 radios. Very pleased with the order overall.
